Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private Mexican university founded in 1943 in the north of the country, in the city of Monterrey. Since its inception, our institution was created as a non-profit to meet the demands of society with innovation and a strong impact on the lives of the people it serves. Everything we do at Tec can be summed up in the phrase that gives life to our Vision:
“We educate people-focused leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit and international competitiveness.”
Our purpose is to provide education that transforms lives.
Convinced that the impact we want to have in our society cannot be achieved in just one region of the country, Tec de Monterrey has expanded, since its founding, to 25 cities on 26 campuses where our High School, Undergraduate Programs and Postgraduate Programs are offered to more than 89,000 students who attend our classrooms every day and participate in our classes and challenges to transform their lives.
The impact we have had since our founding is measured by the success of our more than 230,000 graduates from undergraduate programs. More than 84% of our graduates have received a grade of satisfactory or outstanding on the CENEVAL exit exam (EGEL), which indicates that, in addition to having fulfilled the purpose of transforming their lives through a memorable experience, our students have an outstanding level of knowledge and skills at graduation.
Additionally, we seek to expand the impact of our vision internationally through the activities of our 18 international offices, which primarily promote the internationalization of our students, professors and programs through different strategies.
